To promote healthcare by means community health programs, research, education and grant management, as well as through discussions, collaboration, joint initiatives, marketing and fund raising.
The title Foxglove commemorates one of the great advances in therapeutics, the treatment of patients suffering from swollen legs and abdomen by Dr. William Withering with an extract of digitalis purpurea, a variety of foxglove whose petals resemble the finger of a glove. Digitalis became the most commonly medicine used to treat diseases of the heart.
